Glassware Tips 

• Wash glassware by hand with hot water and very little soap.
• Wine tastes better, or is perceived to taste better, in thin blown glass with a polished lip. It should be colorless and unadorned.
• Young wines should be in bigger glasses than old wines, to encourage the escape of tannin.
• Hold the glass by the stem, so your hand doesn't change the temperature.
• Don't fill your glass more than half way, so you can swirl the wine and enjoy it's aroma. (Unless your ordering in a restaurant - in which case insist on a full measure.
